It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating diversified gas infrastructure, midstream oil infrastructure, propane, oil and gas production, coal and marine transportation sectors. The Fund invests at least 80% of its managed assets in master limited partnership (MLP) entities, and at least 65% in equity securities of MLP entities. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the Alerian MLP Index. The fund was formerly known as Fiduciary/Claymore MLP Opportunity Fund.
