The investment seeks to provide total return by providing investors with commodity exposure while seeking a relatively stable risk profile. The fund is an actively managed exchange-traded fund ("ETF") that seeks to achieve attractive risk adjusted return by investing in commodity futures contracts and exchange-traded commodity linked instruments (collectively, "Commodities Instruments") through a wholly-owned subsidiary of the fund organized under the laws of the Cayman Islands (the "Subsidiary"). The advisor expects to gain exposure to these investments exclusively by investing in the Subsidiary.

The fund utilizes a dynamic asset allocation approach and seeks to invest in multiple fixed-income sectors in the global credit markets, including corporate debt, mortgage-related and other asset-backed securities, government and sovereign debt, taxable municipal bonds and other fixed, variable and floating rate income producing securities. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against a combined benchmark comprised of 80% Barclays Investment Grade Index and 20% BofA High Yield Index. The fund was formerly known as PIMCO Dynamic Credit Income Fund. PIMCO Dynamic Credit and Mortgage Income Fund was formed on January 31, 2013 and is domiciled in the United States.
