The company was formerly known as CCIB Holdco, Inc. Installed Building Products, Inc. was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.

The company sells its products primarily through independent dealers in the United States, Canada, and internationally. Winnebago Industries, Inc. was founded in 1958 and is based in Forest City, Iowa.
