Company to highlight quantum-HPC integration and emerging quantum-artificial intelligence (AI) applications at premier supercomputing event

D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE:QBTS) ("D-Wave" or the "Company"), a leader in quantum computing systems, software, and services and the world's first commercial supplier of quantum computers, today announced it will showcase advances in hybrid quantum technology at SC25, the international conference for high performance computing (HPC), networking, storage and analysis. D-Wave will highlight quantum-HPC integration, impactful customer use cases, and emerging quantum-AI applications, underscoring the company's leadership in delivering energy-efficient quantum solutions that can drive measurable impact today.

"Integrating quantum into the modern HPC center is expected to fuel breakthrough research and advancements in industrial applications," said Irwan Owen, vice president of advanced computing at D-Wave. "At SC25, we are excited to share how our quantum systems are not only demonstrating energy-efficient performance advantages today, but also paving the way for scalable, hybrid quantum-classical solutions that may redefine what's possible in science and business. The combination of QPUs plus GPUs and CPUs working together has transformative potential."

Against the backdrop of AI's escalating power consumption and the impact it is having on today's HPC centers, advanced hybrid quantum technologies are emerging as a potential energy-efficient accelerator for AI and HPC workflows. In his session, "Quantum Computing: Tackling Hard Problems with Energy-Efficient Computation," Murray Thom, D-Wave's vice president of quantum technology evangelism, will share how D-Wave's Advantage2™ annealing quantum computer can solve computationally complex real-world problems often better, faster, and with less energy than classical computers alone. He will also discuss how D-Wave is integrating HPC and quantum computing with partners such as the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) at Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ) in Germany, which purchased a D-Wave™ annealing quantum computer in February 2025. The session will be held in the exhibitor forum on November 19, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. CST.

SC25 is a premier international conference for HPC, networking, storage, and analysis to be held in St. Louis, Missouri, from November 16 to November 21, 2025. Attendees can connect with the D-Wave team, view hands-on demonstrations, and listen to talks on the latest advances in quantum computing at booth #4632. D-Wave's technology will also be on display in JSC's booth #505.
