In connection with the previously announced retirement by John Murphy as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Adobe Inc. (the “Company”), on October 19, 2021 the Executive Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company approved a grant to Mr. Murphy of a one-time cash bonus of $664,950. This bonus is in recognition of Mr. Murphy’s many contributions to the Company and the fact that he has served in his position for nearly our entire fiscal year, yet due to the timing of his retirement, he will not be eligible for payment of any bonus under this year’s Executive Annual Incentive Plan.
