AES Appoints Susan Harcourt Vice President of Investor Relations; Names Ahmed Pasha CFO of US Utilities & Conventional Generation
ARLINGTON, Va., March 10, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The AES Corporation (NYSE:AES) announced today the appointment of Susan Harcourt as Vice President of Investor Relations, succeeding Ahmed Pasha who has been named Chief Financial Officer of the Company's US Utilities and Conventional Generation.
"Susan brings a deep knowledge of AES from her time as Chief of Staff to our President and CEO, Andrés Gluski, as well as her prior roles in Portfolio Management," said Stephen Coughlin, AES Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. "I want to thank Ahmed for his strong leadership over the last decade, including in communicating our transformation story to investors and in attaining two investment grade credit ratings. Going forward, he will continue to play an important role on our finance team as CFO of our US utilities and conventional generation."
Harcourt joined AES in 2010 and most recently served as Chief of Staff to AES' Chief Executive Officer for the last three years. Prior to that, Susan held various positions on AES' Portfolio Management team and in business development.
Pasha joined AES in 1995 and has served in numerous roles in finance and business development. Most recently, Ahmed served as Global Treasurer and Vice President of Investor Relations. In his new role, Ahmed will be CFO of AES Indiana and AES Ohio, as well as 8.3 GW of conventional generation across the US.
