Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On June 15, 2026, Alkermes plc (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the grant of orphan drug designations to alixorexton, as described in Item 8.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K. A copy of the related press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

Item 8.01 Other Events.

On June 15, 2026, the Company announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted orphan drug designation to alixorexton for the treatment of idiopathic hypersomnia, and the European Commission has granted orphan drug designation to alixorexton for the treatment of narcolepsy.
