Amdocs (NASDAQ:DOX), a leading provider of software and services to communications and media companies, today announced that Virgin Media O2, one of the United Kingdom's leading communications service providers, is collaborating with Amdocs to broaden the range of streaming services available to Virgin Media O2 customers.
Through the collaboration, Virgin Media O2 will expand its offering to include new streaming, gaming, health, lifestyle and security services following a rapid, standardized approach. According to recent research from Statista, the subscription model has gained popularity among UK consumers, particularly 25-54-year-olds, who prefer the convenience of paying a single fee, under one contract and having access to a wide range of content.
