    Fastenal to Break Ground on New Southeast U.S. Distribution Facility

    Fastenal Company (NASDAQ:FAST) has announced it will begin construction of a new Southeast U.S. regional operations and logistics center in Carrollton, Georgia. The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on Tuesday, March 24th at 2:30 p.m. ET at the Old Airport Road Development. Slated to open in spring 2027, the new facility will be significantly larger than Fastenal's current 252,000 square-foot regional distribution center in Atlanta, with enough space on the site to potentially expand the building's footprint to 900,000 square feet. The facility will feature a range of next-generation warehouse technologies, from improved processing software to enhanced material handling equipment.
