For this recognition, the ranking process included a selection from over 5,000 of the world's largest and most influential companies, taking into account factors such as revenue, market capitalization and public prominence. TIME, in partnership with Statista, selected the top 500 companies based on a multi-step process and more than 20 key data points that evaluated Carbon Disclosure Project scores, GRI and SASB reporting, emissions and energy intensity, employee turnover, safety and more.
As outlined in Aptar's 2023 Corporate Sustainability / ESG Report, the company has made considerable progress advancing key areas of its global sustainability strategy. Aptar achieved the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum level rating in recognition of its sustainability efforts for the fourth consecutive year, placing the company among the top 1% of the more than 125,000 companies rated across all industries.
