Item 8.01 - Other Events

On March 14, 2022, Apyx Medical Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release disclosing that the Company has been notified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”; “Agency”) that the Agency intends to post a Medical Device Safety Communication related to the Company’s Advanced Energy products. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
