On January 13, 2025, Atea Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing, among other things, the Company’s preliminary unaudited cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities balance as of December 31, 2024. The full text of the press release issued by the Company is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
