    SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Athleta, a Gap Inc. (NYSE:GAP) company and leading women's performance activewear brand, is honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In a powerful new collaboration, Athleta has teamed up with renowned fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk and Susan G. Komen®, the world's leading breast cancer organization, to reimagine the Train Free Bra, blending innovation, purpose, and style to inspire women to prioritize their breast health.

    Juszczyk, known for transforming athletic wear into statements of identity, brings her design vision to this collaboration. The Athleta X Kristin Juszczyk Train Free Bra features the phrase 'Check These Out' along the front band in pink. A playful double entendre designed to spark conversation and encourage women to get themselves checked, and to remind others in their community, to do the same.

    13% of the proceeds from the sales of the limited-edition bra will be donated to Komen, to fund lifesaving breast cancer research, advocacy, and patient support services. 13% represents the approximately 1 in 8 women in the U.S. that will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Experts suggest one-third of U.S. breast cancer deaths could be preventable with universal access to modern treatments. The Athleta Train Free Bra is one of several bra styles compatible with Athleta's Empower Mastectomy Bra Insert; specially designed in collaboration with a breast cancer surgeon to support women in feeling comfortable and confident throughout their active journey post breast surgery.
