    Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

    On April 17, 2025, Bank of Hawaii Corporation (the “Company”) announced that Vice Chair and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) Dean Y. Shigemura, 61, will step down as CFO effective June 30, 2025. Mr. Shigemura has been with the Company for 26 years, during which time he has held roles of increasing responsibility within the Finance Division, including Controller, Treasurer and CFO. Effective July 1, 2025, Mr. Shigemura will assume the position of Internal Consultant to the Company for one year at an annual salary of $500,000. When Mr. Shigemura exits his current role, his duties as CFO will be assumed by current Senior Executive Vice President and Deputy CFO Bradley S. Satenberg. Mr. Satenberg, 54, joined the Company in July 2024 from Luther Burbank Corporation, where he was CFO of Luther Burbank Savings.
