(b) On August 21, 2023, Sir John Antony Hood, a member of the board of directors (the “Board”) of Blackstone Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company of his intention to step down from the Board, due to personal health reasons, effective August 25, 2023. In connection therewith, on August 25, 2023, the size of the Board was reduced from eleven members to ten members.
