Box Reports Upbeat Earnings, Joins American Public Education, Wave Life Sciences And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Wednesday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining more than 200 points on Wednesday.

Shares of Box, Inc. (NYSE:BOX) rose sharply during Wednesday’s session after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter EPS and announced a $100 million expansion of its stock repurchase program.

Total revenues were up 2% on a year-over-year basis. Billings were up 6% in the fourth quarter, coming in at $379.3 million. The company also issued first-quarter revenue guidance above estimates.

Box shares climbed 7.3% to $29.25 on Wednesday.

• Wave Life Sciences Ltd. (NYSE:WVE) rose 28.5% to $6.16 following upbeat quarterly results.
• CareMax, Inc. (NASDAQ:CMAX) jumped 23.8% to $14.72.
• Lantern Pharma Inc. (NASDAQ:LTRN) climbed 22.6% to $5.90.
• Cerus Corporation (NASDAQ:CERS) gained 22.4% to $2.4350 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter GAAP EPS results.
• Crexendo, Inc. (NASDAQ:CXDO) rose 20% to $6.43 following upbeat quarterly results.
• Allient Inc. (NASDAQ:ALNT) gained 17.4% to $35.23 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results.
• CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) shares climbed 17.2% to $348.73 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings and revenues and issued upbeat guidance for FY25.
• Fulcrum Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:FULC) gained 17.2% to $12.85.
• JD.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:JD) climbed 17% to $25.08 after the company reported fourth-quarter results above estimates, a new buyback approval and annual cash dividend.
• Lexeo Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:LXEO) rose 14.8% to $15.00.
• Hippo Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:HIPO) gained 14.6% to $16.58 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results.
• Root, Inc. (NASDAQ:ROOT) climbed 13.7% to $44.46.
• HashiCorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:HCP) gained 11.1% to $26.64 following fourth-quarter financial results.
• Sibanye Stillwater Limited (NYSE:SBSW) climbed 10.6% to $4.3450.
• Mobileye Global Inc. (NASDAQ:MBLY) gained 10.6% to $27.59.
• Super Group (SGHC) Limited (NYSE:SGHC) rose 10.1% to $3.4350 following fourth-quarter results.
• Infinera Corporation (NASDAQ:INFN) gained 10% to $5.66. Infinera announced availability of next generation multi-haul optical line system functionality for industry-leading GX series platform.
• Palantir Technologies Inc. (NYSE:PLTR) climbed 10% to $26.19 after the company announced an Army contract. The company also announced customers will showcase their work in Palantir's AI platform at the AIPCon event on Mar. 7.
• CleanSpark, Inc. (NASDAQ:CLSK) rose 10% to $16.86.
• MicroStrategy Incorporated (NASDAQ:MSTR) rose 10% to $1,156.87. MicroStrategy shares fell over 21% on Tuesday after the company announced a proposed private offering of $600 million of convertible senior notes.
• Lyft, Inc. (NASDAQ:LYFT) climbed 9.4% to $18.45.
• Couchbase, Inc. (NASDAQ:BASE) shares gained 9.2% to $29.37 after the company reported upbeat fourth-quarter sales and issued upbeat revenue guidance for the first quarter.
• Insperity, Inc. (NYSE:NSP) rose 8.4% to $103.06.
• Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (NYSE:HPE) gained 7.9% to $19.53.
• AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ:AVAV) rose 7.7% to $179.96.
• Bilibili Inc. (NASDAQ:BILI) gained 7.4% to $10.91.
• NIO Inc. (NYSE:NIO) rose 5.9% to $5.80. On Tuesday, NIO reported fourth-quarter revenue of 17.10 billion yuan ($2.41 billion), up by 6.5% year-over-year and down by 10.3% from the previous quarter.
