Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 5, 2025, Burford Capital Limited (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the authorization by the Company’s board of directors to repurchase 29,227 of the Company’s ordinary shares, no par value per share, to satisfy a grant of awards to the Company’s non-employee directors under the Burford Capital Limited 2021 Non-Employee Directors’ Share Plan (the “NED Share Repurchase Program”).
A copy of the press release announcing the NED Share Repurchase Program is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
