SAN DIEGO, July 01, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Capricor Therapeutics (NASDAQ:CAPR), a biotechnology company developing transformative cell and exosome-based therapeutics for the treatment of rare diseases, today announced that the Company is set to join the Russell 2000® Index and the broad-market Russell 3000® Index, effective at the open of U.S. equity markets today, July 1, 2024.

The annual Russell indexes reconstitution captures the 4,000 largest U.S. stocks, ranking them by total market capitalization. Membership in the U.S. all-cap Russell 3000® Index, which lasts for one year, guarantees automatic inclusion in either the large-cap Russell 1000® Index or the small-cap Russell 2000® Index, along with the appropriate growth and value style indexes. FTSE Russell primarily determines index membership based on objective market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.
