Comcast Connects First Homes and Businesses to Its Fiber Network on Kent Island, MD and in Queen Anne's County
Xfinity and Comcast Business Services Available to More Residents and Businesses Across Maryland's Eastern Shore – Including in Grasonville, Kent Island, Kent Narrows and Queenstown
Comcast is continuing to expand its state-of-the-art network across Maryland's Eastern Shore and today announced it connected the first Kent Island, MD residents to Xfinity and Comcast Business services. This is part of an expansion project connecting more than 9,000 homes and businesses on Kent Island and nearby communities such as Grasonville, Kent Narrows and Queenstown. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

This project is part of Comcast's ongoing expansion in Maryland, where the company has invested more than $931.8 million in technology and infrastructure over the last three years – including upgrades to its local network.
