Item 2.02

Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On February 7, 2022, Communications Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release reiterating the strategic and financial benefits of its proposed merger with Pineapple Energy LLC. The press release included selected preliminary financial results as of and for the year ended December 31, 2021. The selected preliminary results are subject to the Company’s management review and independent auditors’ customary annual audit procedures. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
