Item 8.01 Other Events
As previously announced in the in the Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the Quarter ended September 30, 2024, filed by CuriosityStream Inc. (the “Company”) on November 11, 2024, the Company’s board of directors declared a cash dividend of $0.025 per share to be paid on March 28, 2025.
On January 30, 2025, the Board of Directors voted to increase the quarterly cash dividend from $0.025 to $0.03 per share of common stock, representing a 20% increase over the prior quarterly dividend of $0.025. The dividend is payable on March 28, 2025, to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 14, 2025.
A copy of the press release issued on January 31, 2025, announcing the dividend increase and providing additional information is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
