Item 8.01 Other Events.

On December 20, 2022, DURECT Corporation (the “Company”) received a letter from the Listing Qualifications Department (the “Staff”) of the Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) informing the Company that the Staff had determined that the closing bid price of the Company's common stock had been at $1.00 per share or greater for at least 10 consecutive business days. Accordingly, the Company has regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) for continued listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market and the matter is now closed.
