Section 5 - Corporate Governance and Management

Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On June 7, 2024, Michael S. Paquette, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of Employers Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”), informed the Company of his intention to retire from the Company on March 31, 2025.

The Company will initiate a nationwide search for Mr. Paquette’s successor. Mr. Paquette will continue to serve as the Company’s CFO until the effective date of the appointment of his successor. Following the appointment of Mr. Paquette’s successor and to support the successful transfer of responsibilities, Mr. Paquette is expected to serve as a senior advisor to the Company for a transition period through his retirement from the Company.
