Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On January 12, 2025, Exelixis, Inc. (Exelixis or the Company) issued a press release announcing its preliminary unaudited financial results for the fiscal year ended January 3, 2025, providing financial guidance for the fiscal year ending January 2, 2026, and delivered an update on its business. A copy of such press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference. The preliminary unaudited financial results contained in the press release do not present all information for an understanding of Exelixis’ financial condition as of January 3, 2025 and its results of operations for the fiscal year ended January 3, 2025. The audit of Exelixis’ financial statements for the fiscal year ended January 3, 2025 is ongoing and could result in changes to the information in the press release. The press release also announced that Exelixis will report its audited financial results for the fiscal year ended January 3, 2025 on February 11, 2025.
