FanDuel Group CEO Amy Howe is the 2024 American Gambling Awards C-Suite Executive of the Year
The American Gambling Awards today announced that Amy Howe, FanDuel Group CEO, has been named C-Suite Executive of the Year for the 2024 American Gambling Awards. Since taking on the role in 2021, Howe has been instrumental in driving the company's growth and innovation in a rapidly evolving market.
The American Gambling Awards, produced by Gambling.com Group Limited (NASDAQ:GAMB) ("Gambling.com Group" or the "Group"), honor the top companies and executives shaping the regulated U.S. online gambling landscape and are recognized as a benchmark for excellence in the sector.
"Winning the American Gambling Awards C-Suite Executive of the Year is a huge honor," said Amy Howe, CEO of FanDuel. "This wouldn't be possible without my team at FanDuel who continues to deliver an industry leading product experience for our customers. Thank you to the American Gambling Awards for this honor!"
Howe is a trailblazer and under her influence, FanDuel launched the Women's Leadership Development Program—an initiative designed to accelerate the careers of women by providing tailored support for both seasoned executives and emerging leaders.
Howe's strategic vision has significantly bolstered FanDuel's market presence. In 2023, FanDuel unveiled its innovative product The Pulse, an engaging real-time betting experience that connects fans to live sports narratives, making the betting process more interactive and enjoyable.
"We are delighted to recognize Amy Howe as the 2024 American Gambling Awards C-Suite Executive of the Year," said Gambling.com Group co-founder & Chief Executive Officer, Charles Gillespie. "Under Amy's outstanding leadership, FanDuel has furthered its leadership position in the U.S. online gambling market to heights which many industry observers didn't think possible. A relative newcomer to the industry, Amy has already left an indelible mark. I am excited to see where Amy's leadership can take the industry next. Congratulations to Amy on this well-deserved honor."
Under Amy's leadership, FanDuel also became the first online sportsbook to achieve EBITDA profitability, underscoring her ability to drive sustainable growth. Additionally, Howe's strong relationships with major professional leagues have distinguished FanDuel in the competitive landscape. This year, FanDuel leveraged its partnerships with the NFL, NBA, WNBA, and MLB to deliver exclusive access to streaming services through unique offers for fans. By deepening connections between fans and their favorite players and teams, FanDuel significantly enriches the overall sports experience.
