U.S. stocks were higher, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining over 200 points on Tuesday.

Shares of HealthStream, Inc. (NASDAQ:HSTM) rose sharply during Tuesday's session following upbeat quarterly results.

HealthStream posted first-quarter GAAP earnings of 17 cents per share, beating market estimates of 11 cents per share. The company's quarterly sales came in at $72.760 million versus expectations of $71.883 million, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

HealthStream shares jumped 7.4% to $25.91 on Tuesday.
