Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On May 3, 2024, Hologic, Inc. updated its press release, originally issued on May 2, 2024 (the “Original Release”) announcing its financial results for
the second quarter ended March 30, 2024. The Original Release inadvertently included a reference on page 3 to “guidance for the second quarter”; the updated press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 reflects the correct reference to “guidance
for the third quarter”. Other than this correction, no other changes have been made to the Original Release. A copy of the updated press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein in its entirety by reference.
