Item 8.01 Other Events
On April 7, 2025, HomeTrust Bancshares, Inc. (the "Company"), the holding company for HomeTrust Bank (the "Bank"), issued the press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference announcing the appointment of Robert “Rob” McCain III to the position of Market President of the Bank’s Charlotte metropolitan area, effective March 31, 2025. McCain will focus on expanding the Bank’s presence in the market, with the primary responsibility of growing commercial and treasury management market share and revenue.
