"We are thrilled to welcome Hoshang at this pivotal time in Moleaer's growth," said Nick Dyner, CEO of Moleaer. "We recently installed our 2,200th nanobubble generator and have installations in more than 50 countries, a significant milestone that speaks to the growing interest in nanobubble technology and Moleaer's leadership in this sector. With the global interest in Moleaer's nanobubble technology expanding from a range of industries around the world, we are fortunate to have someone with Hoshang's experience leading global teams, delivering a suite of solutions to diverse customers from multiple verticals. As such, Hoshang is the ideal person to lead our commercial organization to help us meet our current and future customers' needs."
Customers in over 50 countries utilize Moleaer's proprietary nanobubble generators to reduce their water, chemical and energy footprint. To further support this growing base of installations, the company recently announced the opening of an assembly facility in Spain, which will bolster Moleaer's manufacturing capacity.
Last year, Moleaer raised a $40 million Series C financing round led by funds managed by Apollo (NYSE:APO) and joined by Husqvarna, a strategic partner, and existing investors. This financing round brought the technology company's total funding raised to $61 million.
"The water sector touches nearly every industry, and as those industries navigate challenges brought on by climate change, breakthrough technologies are going to be at the forefront of solutions," said Subawalla. "Nanobubble technology is one of those breakthroughs that has the potential to truly revolutionize how water is used across hundreds of applications in dozens of critical industries. I'm honored to join Moleaer's leadership team, because they are leading this charge forward with their proprietary solutions, and I'm excited to play a role in helping to expand its transformative technology for use around the world."
Subawalla joins Moleaer from Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions, where he provided product and P&L leadership for the global and North American Chemical and Monitoring Solutions business. He joined GE Water and Process Technologies in 2004 as an application development engineer and progressed through various roles of increasing responsibility in GE and successor organizations, including Suez Water Technologies and Solutions and, most recently, with Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions. Prior to joining GE, Subawalla worked for Air Products for seven years. He earned three degrees in chemical engineering, including a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.
About Moleaer
Moleaer™ is the leading nanobubble technology company with over 2,200 nanobubble generator installations in 50+ countries. Deploying the unique power of nanobubbles, Moleaer enhances and improves the performance and productivity of some of the most critical industrial processes, unlocking the power of water to help farmers grow more food, empower businesses to manage their water needs more effectively and efficiently, and restore aquatic ecosystems sustainably without chemicals.
Nanobubbles, which are 2,500 times smaller than a grain of salt, allow the scarce resource of water to do more with less. They supersaturate water with oxygen, form natural oxidants for disinfection, improve plant health, and increase water's ability to permeate soil and rock. Moleaer's patented nanobubble technology provides the highest oxygen transfer rate in the aeration and gas infusion industry, with an efficiency of more than 85% per foot of water. Its nanobubble generators are a cost-effective, chemical-free solution proven to increase sustainable food production, reduce chemical usage, restore aquatic ecosystems, and improve natural resource recovery.
