Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) On February 29, 2024, director Brian R. Niccol informed the KB Home board of directors of his decision not to seek re-election at KB Home’s 2024 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Mr. Niccol will carry out the remainder of his term, which will end at the Annual Meeting, presently scheduled for April 18, 2024. Mr. Niccol’s decision was not due to any disagreement with the board or KB Home.
