Item 8.01 Other Events.

Lantern Pharma Inc. (the “Company”) deeply regrets to announce the death of Dr. Franklyn Prendergast, a director of the Company. The Company learned on October 17, 2023 that Dr. Prendergast had died unexpectedly. Dr. Prendergast had served as a director of the Company since October 2019.
