Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On September 14, 2023, Lazard Ltd (the “Company”) announced the appointment of Alexandra Soto, 54, as Chief Operating Officer of the Company and Lazard Group LLC, effective immediately.

Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

Consistent with its previously announced policy to convey information about its business on its website, on September 14, 2023, Lazard Ltd (the “Company”) posted to its website a letter related to, among other things, the Company’s long-term financial goals with respect to revenue and total shareholder return.
