    William Reinhardt to Remain on the Board

    Metropolitan Bank Holding Corp. (the "Company") (NYSE:MCB), the holding company for Metropolitan Commercial Bank (the "Bank" or "MCB"), today announced that the Board of Directors (the "Board") elected Anthony J. Fabiano as independent Chairman of the Board. William Reinhardt, who has served on the Board since 2013 and has held the role of Chairman since 2018, will remain a member of the Board. Mr. Fabiano was also elected by the board of directors of the Bank as Chairman of the Bank's board.

    With more than 40 years of experience across a broad range of finance, accounting and management disciplines, primarily in the banking sector, Mr. Fabiano brings a deep background in finance, banking, and company management to the position of Chairman of the Board. Mr. Fabiano has served on the Board since 2020 and serves as the chair of the joint Audit Committee of the boards of the Company and the Bank. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company and the Bank.
