National Storage Affiliates Trust Announces the Appointment of Lisa R. Cohn to the Board of Trustees

National Storage Affiliates Trust ("NSA" or the "Company") (NYSE:NSA) today announced the Company has appointed Lisa R. Cohn to its Board, effective February 15, 2024.

Ms. Cohn is the President and General Counsel of Apartment Income REIT Corp. (NYSE:AIRC) and has served in that position since 2020, with specific responsibility for governance, information technology and process innovation, human resources, and legal. Prior to that, Ms. Cohn served in various roles at Apartment Investment and Management Company (Aimco) (NYSE:AIV) since 2002, including most recently as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel since 2007. In addition to serving as General Counsel of Aimco, Ms. Cohn had responsibility for construction services, asset quality and service, insurance, risk management, human resources, property dispositions nationwide, and Aimco's acquisition activities in the western region. Prior to joining Aimco, Ms. Cohn was an associate at Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells) from 1998 to 2002, with an emphasis on public and private transactional work, public equity offerings and venture capital financing. Ms. Cohn graduated cum laude with her law degree from Harvard Law School and graduated with honors and distinction with an undergraduate degree in public policy from Stanford University.
