Overseas Shipholding, Micron, Squarespace, Incyte And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Monday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 100 points on Monday.

Shares of Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. (NYSE:OSG) rose sharply during Monday's session after the company announced it entered into a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by Saltchuk Resources.

The transaction is valued at an aggregate equity value of around $653 million and a total transaction value of $950 million.

Overseas Shipholding Group shares climbed 22.8% to $8.43 on Monday.

• Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (NYSE:HIMS) shares jumped 30.5% to $19.01 after the company announced the addition of GLP-1 injections to its weight loss portfolio.
• Dyne Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DYN) gained 24% to $34.32 after the company announced clinical data from its ongoing Phase 1/2 ACHIEVE trial of DYNE-101 in patients with myotonic dystrophy type 1 and its ongoing Phase 1/2 DELIVER trial of DYNE-251 in patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy who are amenable to exon 51 skipping.
• Wix.com Ltd. (NASDAQ:WIX) rose 21.6% to $164.94 as the company posted upbeat results for its first quarter and raised its 2024 forecast on Monday.
• Sutro Biopharma, Inc. (NASDAQ:STRO) climbed 17.6% to $4.7150.
• PTC Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:PTCT) gained 17.2% to $38.78 after the company announced the European Commission has returned the Translarna opinion to the CHMP for re-evaluation.
• i-80 Gold Corp. (NYSE:IAUX) gained 16.4% to $1.42.
• NextDecade Corporation (NASDAQ:NEXT) gained 16% to $8.10 after ADNOC announced it secured an equity position and LNG offtake agreement in NextDecade’s Rio Grande LNG project.
• NuScale Power Corporation (NYSE:SMR) shares surged 15.5% to $7.29.
• VinFast Auto Ltd. (NASDAQ:VFS) rose 15% to $5.61.
• NovoCure Limited (NASDAQ:NVCR) gained 10.3% to $24.25.
• Independent Bank Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:IBTX) rose 8.5% to $47.69 after SouthState announced it will acquire the company.
• Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NYSE:NCLH) gained 7.8% to $16.99 after the company announced 2026 financial targets and raised its 2024 guidance.
• Sweetgreen, Inc. (NYSE:SG) surged 7.3% to $34.07.
• Carnival Corporation (NYSE:CCL) rose 6.7% to $16.01.
• Instructure Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:INST) gained 6.6% to $21.62.
• Jabil Inc. (NYSE:JBL) gained 6.3% to $122.27 after the company reiterated its third-quarter financial results.
• Doximity, Inc. (NYSE:DOCS) gained 5.1% to $29.46.
• AZZ Inc. (NYSE:AZZ) rose 5.1% to $80.56 after Jefferies initiated coverage on the stock with a Buy rating and $105 price target.
• Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) gained 3.7% to $129.94 after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock from Underweight to Equal-Weight and raised its price target from $98 to $130.
