"Our 2024 Outdoor Collection blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor living, presenting a level of design, quality, taste and style unrivaled in today's market," said RH Chairman and CEO Gary Friedman. "We are proud to introduce our latest Sourcebook, and the innovative global designers and artisan manufacturers we have partnered with. Together, we are pushing boundaries and imagining a new and inspiring way to live outdoors."
Highlights of the 2024 Outdoor Collection
A striking architectural silhouette, Vigo, by designers Harrison and Nicholas Condos (Sydney) is featured on the cover of this year's Sourcebook. The bold geometric profile, rendered in premium teak or all-weather aluminum, is accented by a cylindrical bolster seat back. Byron, an adaptation of the design duo's iconic RH Interiors collection of the same name, reflects the brand's ethos of blurring indoors and outdoors. The statement pieces feature distinctive solid teak vertical reeding crafted by hand to seamlessly fit the continuous curves.
Inspired by Miami's famed Art Deco architecture, Harrison and Nicholas Condos also introduce Bondi, defined by a circular bolster back, stacked teak or all-weather aluminum foundation and generously proportioned seat cushions for unrivaled comfort; Palma, juxtaposing rounded geometric shapes with crisp right angles and curvilinear bolsters; and Bronte, which brings a contemporary perspective to midcentury Scandinavian simplicity.
Award-winning architect and designer Claudio Bellini (Milan) – and son of renowned Italian designer Mario Bellini – presents Gemini, its dramatic curved silhouette and generous proportions reminiscent of 1970s Italian design, handwoven in an airy all-weather wicker lattice that offers a play of light and shadow.
Internationally acclaimed designer Mario Ruiz (Spain) drew inspiration from the Bauhaus for Málaga, its slim lines counterbalanced by the strength of an all-weather aluminum frame.
Evoking a distinctly Mediterranean design sensibility, Nusa – the debut collection from Isabel Rojo and Victor Segarra (Spain) – pairs a solid teak or all-weather aluminum frame with a wraparound back of handwoven all-weather wicker, creating a graceful interplay of form and function.
Santiago, this year's newest collaboration with celebrated design partners Thomas Bina (Los Angeles) and Ronald Sasson (Brazil), evokes the signature style of Brazilian modernism, showcasing organic rounded teak or aluminum forms with handcrafted inset panels of all-weather cane.
Designed by Victoria Sala (London), Maro is informed by the natural world, featuring a fluid open teak frame hand-textured by artisans to resemble bamboo and accented with all-weather rope. The collection is also offered in non-textured all-weather aluminum.
Additional highlights this season include Cellina, a fully upholstered collection bold in scale and form with exaggerated lumbar bolsters that lend sculptural contrast to the clean-lined simplicity; Balos, sculptural statement seating handwoven of transparent all-weather vertical cord with an open barrel-back frame; and Milou, an elegant shelter silhouette with a suspended seat wrapped in handwoven all-weather wicker.
