DALLAS, Nov. 12, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DallasNews Corporation (NASDAQ:DALN) (the "Company") today reported a third quarter 2024 net loss of $3.9 million, or $(0.73) per share, and an operating loss of $4.1 million. In the third quarter of 2023, the Company reported a net loss of $1.4 million, or $(0.26) per share, and an operating loss of $1.6 million. The third quarter 2024 net loss includes severance expense of $3.0 million, primarily due to the Company's anticipated headcount reductions related to the previously announced transition to a smaller printing facility. DALLAS, July 30, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DallasNews Corporation (NASDAQ:DALN) (the "Company") today reported second quarter 2024 net income of $1.5 million, or $0.27 per share, and operating income of $0.6 million. In the second quarter of 2023, the Company reported a net loss of $0.9 million, or $(0.16) per share, and an operating loss of $1.2 million. For the second quarter of 2024, on a non-GAAP basis, DallasNews reported operating income adjusted for certain items ("adjusted operating income (loss)") of $1.2 million, an improvement of $1.4 million when compared to an adjusted operating loss of $0.3 million reported in the second quarter of 2023.
