1. The price reported in Column 4 is a weighted average price. These shares were purchased in multiple transactions at prices ranging from $25.075 to $25.3628, inclusive. The reporting person undertakes to provide to The Community Financial Corporation, any security holder of The Community Financial Corporation or the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission, upon request, full information regarding the number of shares at each separate price within the ranges set forth in this footnote.

2. This form also reflects an increase in beneficial ownership resulting from an exempt acquisition of common stock under The Community Financial Corporation Dividend Reinvestment Plan pursuant to Rule 16a-11.

3. Represents restricted stock units that vest in 3 annual installments beginning on August 20, 2021, the first anniversary of the date of the award. Each restricted stock unit represents a contingent right to receive one share of The Community Financial Corporation common stock.
