Explanation of Responses:

1. On October 18, 2022, BlackRock Income Trust, Inc. (BKT) completed a 1:3 reverse stock split of its common stock. This amended Form 4 is being filed solely to correct the number of securities beneficially owned by the Reporting Person in Column 5 following each of the reported transactions in Table I of the Form 4 filed on February 2, 2023 (the "Original Form 4") due to the reverse stock split. All other information reported in the Original Form 4 remains the same.
