Explanation of Responses:

1. Shares withheld by Gen Digital Inc. to satisfy tax withholding requirements on vesting of restricted stock units (RSUs). No shares were sold.

2. Includes 1,297 shares that were acquired through the 2008 Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) on February 15, 2023.

3. On October 19, 2022, a gift of 517,477 shares of Gen Digital was transferred from the VPJW Revocable Trust to the VPJW Exempt Trust. Mr. Pilette exercises voting and dispositive power for both trusts.
