Explanation of Responses:

1. Represents restricted stock units granted to the Reporting Person under the Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Inc. 2015 Equity Incentive Plan. Each restricted stock unit represents the contingent right to receive one share of the Issuer's common stock. The restricted stock units shall vest on the one-year anniversary of February 8, 2023, subject to the Reporting Person's continued service with the Issuer through the vesting date.
