What has happened? RENEW POWER will get publicly listed on NASDAQ ReNew has entered into a definitive agreement with RMG Acquisition Corporation (SPAC listed on NASDAQ) Upon completion of the transaction, the merged entity will be called ReNew Energy Global PLC and would be publicly listed under the symbol “RNW” Total Enterprise Value of $8 billion - raising $1.2 billion (INR 8,750 CR), of which $700 million (INR 5,000 CR) will be used to fund growth plans
Why is it a big deal? First major overseas listing of an Indian company (in terms of size) via the SPAC route Access to more capital for growth – enough to fund our pipeline for next 3-4 years!
