Subject: Important Update About REV Group
Dear [Name/Valued Partner],
I am reaching out to share an important update about REV Group. This morning, we announced that REV Group has entered into a definitive merger agreement with Terex to form a leading specialty equipment manufacturer. You can read more about this announcement here: [Link to press release].
First and foremost, please know that this announcement will not result in any changes to our ongoing commercial terms or operations. Upon completion of the combination, our brands will continue to operate independently as they do now, maintaining their leadership and unique identities while benefiting from the scale and resources of Terex. This announcement changes nothing about how we work with you – your REV Group contact and your commercial terms remain unchanged.
This is an exciting new chapter for REV Group that builds on years of growth and is the natural next step in our strategy to build a stronger, more diversified company. For those who may be less familiar with Terex, they are a global industrial equipment manufacturer of materials processing machinery, waste and recycling solutions, mobile elevating platforms (MEWPs) and equipment for the electric utility industry. There is no duplication across our portfolios or plant footprints, which means the combination brings complementary capabilities and geographic reach.
By bringing together two highly respected organizations that share a commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and customer success, we’re creating a company poised for long-term growth. The cross-sharing of brand knowledge, exposure to new markets, and complementary sector expertise will create a more dynamic environment for innovation and collaboration, allowing our teams to deliver even greater impact for customers.
Little is expected to change for our plant operations and brands as a result of this transaction, and right now, nothing changes at all. Until the transaction closes, which we expect to occur in the first half of 2026, REV Group and Terex will continue to operate as two separate organizations.
Our priority throughout this process is to minimize any disruption to our business partners and to maintain strong momentum during this important transition. We remain deeply committed to your business and value our ongoing relationship as we continue to deliver the high-quality vehicles you expect from us.
We greatly appreciate your continued partnership. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give me a call.
Best regards,
Linas Polteraitis
Chief Supply Officer
