Announcement

On July 17, 2024, ASLAN Pharmaceuticals Limited, or the Company, issued a press release titled: “ASLAN Pharmaceuticals Announces It Has Filed For Voluntary Liquidation Of Its Sole Operating Subsidiary and Is Commencing Steps To Place Itself Into Voluntary Liquidation.” A copy of this press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.

Liquidation of the Company’s sole operating subsidiary and planned liquidation of the Company will negatively impact the value and liquidity of the Company’s American Depository Shares (“ADSs”). While the Company cannot confirm the outcome of the liquidation process at this time, any recovery by shareholders, if any, is uncertain.
