On April 21, 2025, Shinhan Financial Group Co., Ltd. reported that the number of common shares owned by its largest shareholder, Korea’s National Pension Service (“NPS”), increased from 43,318,455 shares of common stock (representing 8.60%, as of March 21, 2025) to 43,509,972 shares of common stock (representing 8.64%, as of March 31, 2025). This disclosure is based on the results of shareholder registry closing as of March 31, 2025.
