Item 8.01 Other Events

As previously disclosed, on February 13, 2025 the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of T2 Biosystems, Inc. (the “Company’”) approved a reduction-in-force of substantially all of its employees, effective immediately. In an effort to maximize the value of its assets, the Company has also engaged an advisory firm to sell the Company and its assets, including its patents and other intellectual property.
