Rein Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) is unable to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024 (the “Form 10-K”) within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort or expense. The Company requires additional time to complete certain processes and procedures to finalize the Form 10-K, including the completion of its assessment of impairment losses on intangible assets for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024.

The Company’s results of operations for the year ended December 31, 2024 is expected to include an impairment loss on intangible assets of approximately $37.0 million in connection with the temporary delay of further clinical development of LTI-01, the Company’s product candidate for the treatment of patients with loculated pleural effusion. The Company did not incur an impairment loss on intangible assets during the year ended December 31, 2023. |
