Compass Minerals International, Inc. (the “Company”) is unable to timely file its Annual Report on Form 11-K for the Compass Minerals International, Inc. 401(k) Savings Plan (the “Plan”) for the year ended December 31, 2023 (the “Form 11-K”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) without unreasonable effort or expense. The Form 11-K cannot be filed by the prescribed due date because of the recent change in the Plan’s auditor. The Company anticipates the Form 11-K will be filed on or before the fifteenth calendar day following the prescribed due date.
