VCI Global Limited (the “Registrant”) was unable, without unreasonable effort or expense, to file its Annual Report on Form 20-F for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024 (the “Annual Report”) within the prescribed filing date. The Company’s independent registered public accounting firm has yet to complete its review of the financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 24, 2024. The Company is working diligently to complete its Annual Report for such a period as soon as possible and currently anticipates to file the Annual Report no later than the fifteenth calendar day following the prescribed due date.
