Sensient Technologies Corporation (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K on February 8, 2024 (the “Original Form 8-K”) reporting, under Item 5.02, the appointment of Tobin Tornehl as the Company’s Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and
principal financial officer, effective as of July 1, 2024. In the Original Form 8-K, it was noted that Mr. Tornehl would receive a prorated long-term equity incentive award at the time he assumes his new position. On April 25, 2024, the
Compensation and Development Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company approved a long-term equity incentive award of $137,500 to Mr. Tornehl on the date that he assumes his new position. Other than providing this additional information,
no other disclosure in the Original Form 8-K is amended by this Form 8-K/A.
